funny thing is that in different parts of the world the continents are positioned differently. - love the different perspectives. If you buy a world map in Australia, it will be in the middle, quite a different view from our maps!

I love looking at maps, also! I find it so incredible that we have been able to organize that much information so well...I have seen many people blogging about maps lately. I particularly like old maps too, ones with inaccuracies or differences to contemporary ones, so you can compare.

I love looking at maps, reading about country statistics. I remember hearing we were moving to Armenia and finding to my horror that I was wrong about where it was on the map. Quite wrong! Shame. And having no idea what the capital was.

We have a map of the world hanging in our hallway. We find many reasons we need to have a look at it. Like a cell phone, how can you do without?

My dh and I also play the game you mentioned when on long trips in the car.
